How do I add users on the My Sky Smart Home app?

Managing your smart home doesn’t have to be a one‑person job. With the My Sky Smart Home app, you can invite other people in your household to help manage devices, keep an eye on what’s happening at home, and receive important notifications.
Here’s how it works and what each user can do.

How to add a user in the Sky Smart Home app

Only the primary user on the account can send invitations.
To add someone new:
  1. Open the Sky Smart Home app
  2. Tap the People tab in the bottom menu
  3. Select Add User
  4. Enter the person’s name, email address, and phone number
  5. Tap Add User
An email invitation will be sent to the new user. They’ll just need to follow the link to create their account and sign in.
 

What additional (secondary) users can do

Once added, secondary users can:
  • Arm and disarm the home
  • Access devices and use live view
  • Receive notifications
  • Change device settings
  • Change home settings
  • Add new devices
This means everyone can stay connected and help manage the home when needed.
 

What only the primary user can do

For security and control, some actions are limited to the primary user only. These include:
  • Adding or removing users
  • Removing devices
  • Changing consent settings
  • Managing the emergency contact

 

Good to know

If you’re the primary user, you stay fully in control of who has access and what they can manage. You can review or update users at any time from the People section in the app.
