How do I add users on My Sky Protect app?

Additional Users

You can invite anyone in your home to access the Sky Protect app. The primary user sends an invite via email, allowing others to create their account to log in and join in.

Here's how:

  • Open the Sky Protect app.
  • Select the People tab in the bottom bar.
  • Choose Add User and enter their name, email address, and phone number.
  • Tap Add User
  • The invite will be sent to their email, allowing them to create an account and log in.

Good to know: When you add a user to your home, they will become a secondary user and have the following permissions:

  • Secondary user access
  • Arm and disarm the home
  • Access devices and live stream
  • Receive notifications
  • Change device settings
  • Change home settings
  • Add devices

Only the primary user can:

  • Add and remove users
  • Remove devices
  • Change consent settings

Emergency Contact

If anything goes wrong, you can feel protected knowing you can have a trusted friend or family there in an emergency, giving you an extra level of protection for your home.

Here's how:

  • Open the Sky Protect app.
  • Select the People tab in the bottom bar.
  • Choose Emergency Contact and enter in their name, email address, and phone number.
  • Once you have done this an email will be sent out to your chosen person.

Emergency contacts will not have access to the app or any of your data. You can remove or amend your emergency contact at any time.

Good to know:  When a leak incident is detected, we will send you an incident alert. If, after 10 minutes, you have not opened the app to respond to the incident, we will send an SMS to your Emergency contact.
