Smart Home- Indoor Camera

  • Afternoon. I've ordered the smart home setup with doorbell and indoor camera. Gone through the setup, all setup fine as far as we can see. The indoor camera I don't seem to be able to view through the app. It loads to 10% and then stops. Is this a known bug? All firmware up to date.

Is the sensor bridge connected to the indoor camera showing blue?

Are you sure that there is no update needed for the indoor camera, clicking on indoor camera, the settings icon top right and scrolling down to update.

You could also try doing a reboot indoor camera and see if that helps.

Interesting. I haven't received a sensor bridge in either of the packages (camera or doorbell). The indoor camera appears to work fine when connected on WiFi, but not when my phone isn't.

You will only get the sensor bridge if you have added the motion sensor and leak sensors packs to your offering.

Perhaps, if you have not tried, is removing the indoor camera from the app and adding it again.

I have the same problem. Tried rebooting it, tried deleting and adding again...help!

Re: Smart Home- Indoor Camera

I have the same issue, though the camera starts working after I turn it off and back on. This happens on my iPhone. I tried using a different phone—an Android device—and installed the app there, and it works every time! It seems the iPhone is a poor choice for this camera, though I don't understand why. If I want to use the iPhone, I have to restart the phone every time I use the camera; otherwise, the camera shows a 10% charge but nothing happens. The smart doorbell, however, works without any problems on both phones.

Could you report your findings you mention with the make and model of your iPhone and its iOS software version to the email address shown in the app.
