Re: text message fails

 Compensate You
Because Sky Mobile runs on O2's infrastructure, they are bound by regulatory expectations regarding service failures. Here is exactly how to get your money back once the network is running again:
  •  Write down the exact time your service stopped and when it returns. You need this evidence.
  •  Call Sky and demand a refund for the days you were without service. For example, if your bill is £30 a month and you lose service for two days, you are legally entitled to a refund for those two missed days.
  • : If you use your phone for work or business and lost income because clients couldn't call you, state this clearly to the advisor.
  • : Use these specific words. Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, Sky must provide services with "reasonable care and skill." A prolonged national blackout violates this.
  • : Frontline customer service agents have the power to apply £10 to £20 "goodwill credits" to your account instantly just to resolve the complaint. Always ask for the supervisor if the agent says no.

Re: text message fails

Got this from Mr Ai  for compensation

To the Sky Complaints Team,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding a severe, nationwide failure of the Sky Mobile network that has left me without essential services.
Despite your automated telephone helpline acknowledging that this is a major issue affecting users all over the UK, your public-facing systems failed to provide accurate, transparent information in a timely manner.
Under the Consumer rights act 2015 you are legally required to provide mobile services with "reasonable care and skill." A prolonged national network blackout is a direct failure to meet this standard. I have paid my bill in full, yet Sky has failed to deliver the service I am under contract to receive.
As a resolution to this complaint, I require1 a Pro-rata refund for the period my service was unavailable.
2 A good will refund applied to my next bill to compensate for the significant inconvenience, lack of communication, and stress caused by being completely cut off.
Please respond within the regulatory timeframe to confirm how this credit will be applied to my account. If this issue cannot be resolved satisfactorily, I will request a deadlock letter to escalate this matter to the Ombudsman.
Yours sincerely,
