since about 4pm I've tried to add some data into my phone but it said there was a technical issue and I should try in a few minutes I've been trying all over again but it hasn't worked

When you get through to someone you just explain your issue as you did here, so you tell them that you can't roll the data as you are seeing this technical error and can they roll it and look into this error for you.

If you call Sky on 150 they can roll the data for you ans look into why you can not.

what is calling sky on 150?

can you write their number down please?

150 (just that) is the number to call Sky on from your mobile.

so when they answer I just give them my sky account and things then I'll ask for a roll of data and then when I ask for how much I want after the phone ends I'll receive it?

what time is sky 150 opened from and until

No idea, but I would guess something like 7am to 10pm.
