refund is not credited

i had applied for a mobile phone iphone 16 pro max 256 black color on 25th november through online and at the time of checkout i paid £76 pound of upfront payment and soon after the payment the order was canceled dont know why the order were canceled i made the order through my sky acount linked to the mobile number  and mail id  when i connected to custoemr care at that day they mentioned the refund will credited to the bank acount within 5-7 working days but still my refund was not credited

It’s possible you may have failed the required credit check(s). See this link for Skys guidance ~

If you contact Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record. You would have to sign up to a credit reference agency like Experian or Equifax, which would give you access to your credit record.

I believe any upfront payment you’ve made should hopefully be refunded after about 14 days not 5-7. .
