"Sorry the person you are calling is on another call"

Hi, I have just transferred my number over from IDmobile and it was working fine however at some point since then, and for the last couple of days, I am not able to make calls. It states "The person you are calling is on another call" when they are not.

 

I have switched the device off and on again a few times but the issue persists. Can anyone advise/help please?

Are you able to call Sky because if so this will need reporting to them, 150 (just that) is the free number to call them on.

As it turns out I get the same "sorry, the person you are calling..." when I try and ring 150.

I'm in the same boat. I've sent an email of complaint as going round in circles with agents I've spoke to. Had this issue since Tuesday. You would hope Sky would realise that it's affecting a lot of customers. 

It is not an issue with a local mast. I went 30 miles from home yesterday. Still the issue persisted. 

I can only send texts on WhatsApp and iMessage in Wi-Fi. The moment I leave the house the phone is redundant.

took a new contract out on wednesday and have also had the same issue since friday , when i call they say there looking into it and to check back in 72 hrs. ive also had no data since friday so completley renders my new phone usless. will be hoping for some credit on my file

I am still waiting for this to be resolved and have paid my first bill without ever having service. I am getting annoyed now. 

 

The engineers are looking into it but in yhr meantime I am carrying round a phone that is useless unless connected to wifi.

Spoke to someone in the UK. Couldn't fix the issue so have given me the pac code to leave penalty free. Not had a working phone since I joined last week. Customer service has been shocking. Waiting for a response to my complaint raised over a week ago.
