i have switching numbers i wanted to keep to sky.. my number is not working and i cannot call or text anyone

You'll have to explain in a little more detail...  What have you done and when?

(You can't port numbers within a network)

Did you move your number from a different network to Sky ?

all sorted finally... sky gave me a "holiday" number while mine was being switched over from three...my number was still there on my phone settings but failed to register as my primary number... whilst ringing sky customer services the man deleted both numbers so i was left with no number, so after that i had to ring on my wifes phone. the man on the other end of the line told me to insert the sim, which is impossible with an iphone air, but he couldnt understand this and insisted he needed to text my phone, which again is hard to do if the number is not registered.. but somehow we got there in the end........i dont mean to be rude to anyone but i have a very cockney accent which the guy couldnt understand and to be honest it was hard understanding him... but job done
