my samsung S22+ phone is malfunctioning now cant use it.

My Samsung S22+ is not able to be used, its showing adds continuously its trying to add cleaners, it's unusable. i cannot use this phone at all I am worried I have a lot of photos on this phone, I wanted to send my photos to a sd card but have no idea how to do this as there is no sd card slot on this phone. i need a replacement phone or this one to be repaired what do I need to do as I cannot seem to get in touch with Sky.

I don't believe a 'repair' is required.  (Nor will Sky send a replacement)

 

It's a software/malware issue - I don't believe Sky will 'fix' those.

 

Unless someone will post here on resolve such issues you'll be better off posting on a Samsung forum imho.

 

(Many phones no longer have SD slots - they expect you to use a cloud service)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@hazel+jordan You should be able to fix this issue yourself by running a security scan while in safe mode, this mode blocks any third party apps from running which will be the source of the malware which is causing the pop ups.

 

To enter safe mode you need to do the following, 

Turn off your phone
Repower your phone and when the Samsung logo appears hold down the volume down key, Safe Mode will appear on the bottom left of the screen
Once in safe mode you then need to do the following to run the scan, 
Go to Settings
Tap Battery and Device Care
Tap Device protection
Tap Scan phone
All of the apps and data on your device will be scanned
Once the scan is completed you will be shown whether or not your device is secure. 
 
If nothing is picked up then it may be worth downloading malwarebytes while in safe mode and running that.

If you are getting pop ups then has this started since you installed an apps recently ?
