is it a spam call?

I have been receiving calls purporting to be Sky Agents.. They tell me they can give me a 30% discount and l don't have to do anything.. but then ask me to verify phone number and email address

In these days when Spammers are so convincing and having a previous  phone number hacked . I am suspicious and reluctant to give out any of my details.. 

if l am entitled to a discount why don't sky just notify me and deduct the discount from bill? 
Amy one know if these calls are genuine?

You have done the right thing by not giving them any details as these are scammers that are calling you as these types of calls do get mentioned on here on a regular basis.
