iPhones linked

My iPhone and my sons iPhone seem to be linked together as we both receive the same telephone call and messages, how can I separate them?

Hi @DDw1  are you using the same Apple ID ? Also check in settings, apps, phone, calls on other devices and untick that.

Ideally each user should have their own ID...

Then that's working as designed. Any communication linked to an Apple service (rather than a SIM) will be duplicated on all Apple devices using the same Apple ID.
