iPhone number not changing

Hello, I'm hoping somebody can help me with my phone number not showing correctly on my iPhone 'Phone' app. I recently changed provider from O2 to Sky and successfully transferred my number. However, my number is still showing as the original new sim number on the Phone app. I also discovered yesterday that my text messages aren't working properly so not sure if this is also part of the problem? I've managed to change the number associated with my Apple ID and been in touch with Apple Support already, but they advised that I get in touch with my new provider. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance!

Hi @Erin24  have you tried settings, phone, my number and changing it in there? It can take a lot of attempts to save for some people.

Hi @63johnw, thank you for getting back to me so quickly! Yes, I've tried multiple times over the past week or so with various combinations of restarting my phone too and no luck yet. I shared a screen recording of the problem with Apple Support too and they said to contact my provider.

If it isn't saving then the only thing you could try is to order a replacement sim as that should come with your transferred number:

I take it the new number returns when changed to the original?
Have you tried entering your number incl the Country code (+44) & omitting the first 0? I had to do this when I transferred my sim to Sky.
