iPhone 16 screen coming away from frame

Hi, I have just taken the iPhone out of its cover to clean and at the top in the middle for around 15mm the frame has come away from the screen with the gap being around 2cm

I presume 2mm?

Depending on the age of the phone then the onus varies on the showing whether the fault lies with the manufacturer or the owner.  However, such damage may have been caused by pushing the phone out of the cover - this may not be covered by any warranty.

As above, you'll need to return the phone for assessment - this make take some time.
