iPad sim

I've just received a new iPad and sim. When I activated the sim it cut my phone sim off so I had to swap them

Did you order a data plan when you ordered your iPad or did you order a replacement sim ?

It's an iPad and sim from sky on contract. Twice they've sent a SIM card and both times it's cancelled my phone so I have to swap the SIM cards over

If you did order a data plan then it should have come with a different number attached to it so it shouldn;t cancel your phone one as that should only happen if it was a replacement sim as it would come with the same number.

Ye, thanks.

I've contacted sky and I've mistakenly added the same number. They're sending me a new sim with instructions to activate it. I'll get someone to do that for me.
