New sky mobile customer!

just joined sky mobile! I got my sim and phone yesterday and activated it as soon as my phone was up and running. However, i got an email this morning asking me to activate my sim even though i already did. My data works and everything is running fine so i assume i activated it fine so should i just ignore the email i got this morning?
