eSIM provided in error

My wife ordered a Samsung A11 and in the ordering process was given the option of an eSIM or a physical SIM card. She chose the eSIM and has been given a QR code to activate it but we have discovered that this tablet isn't compatible and will only take a physical SIM card so as a result she's unable to activate the service but is finding it very difficult get one.

Hi @Stumpy02  if you call sky on 150 from a sky sim they will be able to send out a physical sim. Alternatively if the esim isn't activated just go to sky.com and order a new sim/plan making sure you choose a physical sim.

Re: eSIM provided in error

Thanks for the reply, however if I order a new SIM as you suggest then the 100mb plan that's included with the £3.50 p.m. tablet is £5, which is crazy. The other thing is I already have two SIMs in my account so it makes more sense if we can transfer the tablet SIM to mine; the wife had gone ahead and placed the order against her Sky ID without thinking 🙄!

Hi @Stumpy02  you can't transfer a sim from one sky account to another so if your wife has ordered the sim on her account it would have to stay on her account. She can still request a physical version of the 100m sim.
