a replacement ipad

Hi, I spoke to a lady on the phone regarding a iPad I purchased being faulty she has said I new one will be sent and i would need to turn the old one, I have not had any confirmation of a new 1 being sent out, an trying to speak to somebody online is so hard as you can never get through to a human
