Why does my Mobile bill never come out on first of month like it was set at? I have spoken to the ba

Why does my Sky Mobile bill not come out on the first of every month? I have spoken to the bank and I have spoken to Sky on several occasions still the direct debit comes out whenever Sky feel like taking it. I understand if it's a bank holiday or a weekend Example the first of the month in July was Monday but Sky took the payment on Wednesday which was the third of the month. This happens on a regular basis and I am getting no further forward just frustrated.

What did the bank say because I'm not sure any of us here can say for sure why this happens.

The selected payment date is the earliest Sky will collect it, i.e it can be a day or two later.

 

I believe that weekends prior to the payment date (1st of July was preceeded by the weekend) can cause the later payment.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

The bank blame Sky Sky blame the bank like I said previously I can understand if it falls on the weekend or a bank holiday but this happens on a regular basis  I have Sky home broadband that always comes out on the selected date only my mobile that doesn't
