Who owns the device at the end of contract term?

I'm thinking of buying the Apple Mac air 13 inch which is £24 a month for 24 months, and a few of £12 upfront. My question is who owns the Mac at the end of the 24 months? I assume I will own it but the terms and conditions talk about swapping it at the end of the 24 months (which I don't want to do) or the fact that you have an option to buy, so I'm a little confused.

Swap24 is a 36 month contract.  At the end of the 36 payments you own it outright.

The 24 refers to the point where you could consider a swap - hopefully the residual value of the device covers the remaining credit and you start a whole new contract.

You can purchase the device outright if you want.

Hi @Jfhdgsjsbd  check what you are ordering as the £24 is for the swap 36 contract which is actually a 48 month contract so you pay for 48 months then it's yours or swap it at 36 months.

If someone has helped give them a thumbs up.

Good point - 24x24 is only £576...

@Jfhdgsjsbd

As a general principle it's worth checking the list price in the Apple Store, because that indicates the minimum you'd be paying Sky before you own the hardware. Any 'monthly cost x number of months' calculation from Sky which works out less than the Apple price is likely to be wrong because Sky has both a profit margin and a credit cost to cover.

Apple, quite famously, enjoys making money.
