I've just pre ordered the new iPhone 16 Pro Max.
I'm an old woman who hasn't a clue, so I have no idea which lightning cable and usb plug to buy or where from.
I want to extend the life of the battery, so I'm not too bothered about super fast charging.
Can anyone kindly help please (without judging me)?

You will need a USB C charging plug. You can get these from various sources such as Amazon or Apple etc. I would be wary about getting a cheap one from eBay etc as these can sometimes be dangerous. My advice is use a genuine Apple charger.

Thank you.
I appreciate you taking the time & effort to answer.
I was mistakenly under the impression that iPhones don't come with both a charging cable or, a plug.
Do you know whether Sky sell the Apple usb-c plugs?
I can't seem to find one in accessories shop?

Important to note that the 16 (and last year's 15) use USB-C at the phone end, not the previous (and proprietary to Apple) Lightning socket: these are very much not the same thing. That's a change forced on Apple by the EU.
