When I try and call a contact it says incorrect number

For weeks now intermittently my phone tells me I've called a incorrect number ( this is with different saved contacts which are family members that I call regularly) this morning my husband was trying to call me for hours and had the same issue but could make calls to other members of our family . It's becoming very annoying

Hi @Mummabear18  there were similar reports a few weeks back and one solution was to change the number you are dialling by replacing the first zero with 44.

If someone has helped give them a thumbs up.

If their answer solved your issue mark it as the correct answer.

Re: When I try and call a contact it says incorrect number

Why would I want to change a contact number that I've been using for years without a issue?

Just offering a solution that worked for others @Mummabear18 , don't try it if you don't want to, your choice.

Re: When I try and call a contact it says incorrect number

Same issue started for me this week... Hunted around and found this fix that worked for me.. Has happened again a week later so only a temp fix at this time of writing-

Settings> Mobile Services>

In the Network selection field you should see SKY alongside the >. If you dont then thats the issue.

Tap SIM Applications> Roaming>

You will see Automatic and Home with a > next to them

TAP Abroad to select

Go back, Go Back then turn off 'Mobile Data Button' then Turn back ON

Repeat the SIM Applications step above but this time select AUTOMATIC instad of Abroad

Go back, Go Back then turn off 'Mobile Data Button' then Turn back ON

You should now see SKY displayed alongside the Network Selection Field.

Go back all the way to home screen and the phone should now work
