No mate nothing whatsoever and I started this thread. The last contact was again from the so called "sky employee " who asked for people to give specific details of make/model/software etc
I replied to that within minutes in detail answering all he asked but no response since not even an acknowledgement that he saw it. Yes im really hacked off (can't post what i really want to say as it blocks the words) but also to be fair why am I the only one that replied to that request? IF we are going to solve this we ALL need to assist when asked. As I stated at the very start this site appears to be nothing more than a social media system which allows people to vent their anger but does nothing to actually resolve anything. Exactly as all social media sites all talk and moaning about the state of things in the world but absolutely no action.
I did reply re what phone etc but then as soon as i posted that reply it all stopped. I didn't change anything but all back to normal. Sorry can't give you any magic reason why. Good luck

@Lisathompson84@Leicester1972 It could be that sky and the phone manufacturers figured out the issue but it would be more helpful if they did post something on here to confirm it.

Well it hasn't stopped for me and many others but yes the first rule of customer service is too keep the customer informed but hey that's old school now
My S25 FE updated yesterday and yet again I was bombarded with voice mails alerts. To stop it I went into voice mail settings and turned visual voice mail on and off. Hope this helps someone 🙏
still no true fix or replies from sky despite many people still having this fault but hey dont worry anyone we will continue taking your money without providing any answers let alone actually fix this issue after all its only been over 2mths now since i reported it and others were before me and please i dont want anyone else to reply with have you done this etc etc of course i have otherwise i wouldnt have added to the thread try reading it from the top before posting first thanks.
Hi, Im also having this issue on an iPhone 17 pro. I’m having around 20-30 voicemail notifications a day. I believe it's draining the battery also. I have tried the trouble shooting and it has not helped but cannot see a reply from sky that ACTUALLY helps on this thread.
I thought mine had been fixed hadnt been getting any for ages and then new update and all back again more so on my samsung watch than my phone altho they are connected so now I have had to disallow all notifications on my phone to everything but that prevents me from knowing if anything. My main problem now is that I get no notification tone to apps I do allow notifications for.
I thought it had been fixed but then got new update to do and started up again so had to disallowed all notifications regarding voicemail but now I dont know if I have a genuine one or not.
mine has been doing this for months and I'm thinking the only solution is to change to another provider, yesterday Sky tech help just went round and round in circles making me do all the things I've already done repeatedly then they mysteriously disconnected the call, so they know they just can't fix it or they don't care, either way they're losing a customer today and I may cancel my whole Sky package with them when it comes up for renewal in a months time, there are cheaper out there anyway and I only stayed because I've been with them for over 20 years 🤔 but I've had enough of this nonsense, I need my phone on 24/7 for family reasons and having these 2 voicemails constantly chiming on my phone is driving me nuts. 😠
