I have just got a virus on my phone what can I do ?

Hi @Martinchar  are you sure you have or are you just getting messages saying you have ? Often these messages appear after installing an app from an unreliable source or visiting a "dodgy" website. Remove any recently downloaded apps and close any browsers then restart your phone.

There's essentially no such thing, so any warning should itself be treated with extreme suspicion.

 

Note that a malicious application which a user chooses to install is not a 'virus'.

Which phone do you have?
If iPhone then there's no infection so most likely it's a scam message from an infected webpage.
If Android then it is possible. I'd download MalwareBytes from the Google App Store & run a scan.
