Unwanted mobile deal
Someone rang yesterday saying they could give me a promotion deal on my mobile. I've had a message this morning saying that I'm getting a parcel from sky, when I have checked its an iPhone.
I do not wish to purchase a phone. I would appreciate someone getting back to me and explain.

Re: Unwanted mobile deal
Hi @Allison42 this is a well known scam doing the rounds, when you get the phone that you don't want they then send a courier to take the phone back to sky but it doesn't go to sky and they get the phone but you pay for it. If you gave them any passwords etc immediately change them. Call sky on 150 to inform of this and see if access has been gained to your account.

AS ABOVE - IT WAS NOT SKY THAT CONTACTED YOU.
You have been scammed and if you follow the instructions from the scammer then the phone will be sent to the scammers and you'll be paying for it.
Ensure you speak to Sky only. As detailed, only use the 150 number from your Sky phone.
I believe the correct action is to refuse delivery and it will be returned to Sky - but confirm this with Sky first.
