Unable to make outgoing calls on new iPhone 17

I have just upgraded from an iPhone 13 to the new iPhone 17 running iOS 26. I can receive calls but cannot make them. I have kept the same number with my original SIM and had the phones next to each other to transfer the data. All Seles looks ok.

Perhaps try getting the network settings sent to your new phoen to see if that fixes the issue.

Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.

Re: Unable to make outgoing calls on new iPhone 17

I went through all the online help steps with no success. Finally called a SKY number from my landline and spoke to an non UK call centre. Who went through some settings and hey presto it is now working. The issue I feel is all about the new terminology in IOS26. and the ability to have multiple Sim numbers. One physical and additional eSIM.. You have Primary and Travel settings. IOS26 is still bedding in, in September 2025. Thank you for your assistance in this matter it is appreciated.
