Unable to active SIM

My SIM will not activate because my PAC code is from sky. My number was under my dads account but I have set up my own phone/SIM therefore I wanted to keep my number but transfer away from my dads account. As I have done this, sky is saying I cannot keep my old number due to the pac code being from sky. This is the stupidest rule and wasn't made clear when setting up this new device. I want help and need to keep my old number. How do I resolve this?

It is not possible to transfer a number from one Sky sim to another as you are trying to do. So you have a couple of options:

 

Activate the new Sky sim and have a new number on your own account.

 

Teansfer the number you have to a PAYG network and then back to the new Sky sim.

Need an activation code So I can activate my SIM card.It will not let me activate as it says.Try again later I have tried and tried to activate.So I need new ones or a new sim card As I am in contract with you and I am paying for the sim cardiff as well

If you have a sim then you should have the activation code so if you can't do it online due to the error then use another phone (mobile or landline) and give Sky a call to ask them to activate it:

 

150 is the free number to use from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

When you do call say nothing when the bot speaks to you about what your call is about as it should then route you to somebody.
