Transferring number

Got a SKY upgrade. Received phone, trying to transfer number got PAC number but said can't be a SKY PAC number. How do I transfer my old SKY number?

@Trish53_  You can't transfer numbers on the same network 

what you need to do is port the number you want to keep to another non sky payg network then back again to the correct sky sim

You can't transfer a number between two Sky sims so just move the sim you were using in your old phone into your new one and the new sim you ordered will be cancelled if you have not activated it.

The work around is to transfer the number to a PAYG network then back to the new Sky sim.

But I got the phone as an upgrade

Then as advised, move the sim from your old phone into your new phone and it is job done.

@Trish53_  unless you have changed data plans and received a new SIM card with the new data plan in which case you would have to port out and back as advised
