Transfer number

Got a new sky phone and provided the PAC code followed all the steps and it's still showing as a new number when I wanted to keep my old number. Can someone help please

If you are moving a number to Sky then when did you give Sky your pac code and have they told you that the number transfer has been completed ?

Hi I provided it yesterday afternoon. I got a text saying thanks for joining sky and confirming the new mobile number not my old one and I don't know what to do now

If you have Sky the pac code yesterday afternoon then the number should either transfer to your Sky sim today or if it was late afternoon that you gave them the pac code then it might be sometime tomorrow.

 

The welcome message refers to the Sky sim you have as it will come with a temporary number that you can use in the meantime.

Just to confirm that you are trying to port in a number from a different network than Sky?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

Yes I wanted to keep my old number with different provider to use with my new sky contract
