Was this purchased from Sky on the 'swap' scheme?

 

If not, then you can simply purchase a new device and decide what to do with your old one.  (You can trade it in anywhere that offers a conversion to cash scheme)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
