To buy a new iPhone

Hi I want to buy a new iPhone but I'm not eligible according to your system. But my credit score is good , it is 591 out of 700.  I have one sim contract with vodaphone from last one year. I am leaving in UK from last 2 years. And also living on my current address from last one year. But I don't know why I am not eligible for buying a new phone. I'm  doing a job as a full time employee. Please update if you want to add a new customer in your family. Thanks

Regards

You aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services here. This is predominantly a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are available to help other customers.

The credit check system is explained here.
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/credit-checks-sky-mobile

Be aware that if you keep trying to order the device this could further impact your credit score. If you contact Sky they would be able to confirm that’s the reason your order was cancelled but not why you failed the credit check in the first place as they are not allowed to view your credit record. You would have to sign up to a credit reference agency like Experian or Equifax, which would give you access to your credit record.

Any upfront payment you’ve made should be refunded after about 14 days but recent posts suggest it’s taking a bit longer in which case you’ll need to call Sky to chase it up.

Your numeric credit core is only part of the credit assessment carried out. But we're a customer Community, not Sky customer services. It's unlikely however that Sky will tell you exactly why you failed, even if they know (which I doubt).
