Mine was fine till yesterday. Same group of friends no problem. Something has changed yesterday morning and now people send me messages that I can't receive   
Very frustrating. Can't believe it's my sim but will persevere till new one arrives. Just wish I've never switched to Sky tbh. 
Been with 3 for 8 years with no issues.

@Al3x1 I've been with Sky for 3 years now and never had this problem. Very strange. Problem is the person is vulnerable and can only text (doesn't use WhatsApp) so been having to call them all day every hour to check in.  So frustrating.

@Martin151 So annoying.  Don't expect things to take this long to fix. Last one I got was 8am yesterday. Especially as having to come on here to find out

I reported the issue this afternoon but was told it'll be Monday before it's resolved. I asked about compensation because I'm paying for a service they're failing to provide. He said yes I would be compensated. I asked how much. Should have been a politician because he never answered the question. Asked him 3 times. Definitely leaving Sky because this is a regular occurrence. They're rubbish.

the guy i spoke to at Sky said they don't know how long it's going to take! I switched to Sky this week so disappointing, can't set up any apps as they all ask for a one time passcode via text!

it's really poor they have not made a service announcement or at least any reassurance they're working on this, i did get offered £5 compensation on my contract though, (Removed)

Same here no texts and been telling my family off for not responding when they all have. Always something. So frustrating

@LadyD17 @Must admit been with them for years but 1st time I've had this. I only really have 3 family members that text through SMS rather then WhatsApp but as one is my elderly mum it's a concern. From Friday to Monday seems a long time in this day & age  & I would expect communication from them rather then everyone panicking before finding this chat

My 2 daughters have sky mobile they can txt me but I can't txt them. This started a few day ago.

Having issues with one number getting over 20 text same content my son has sent a text that is also being duplicated I have what the web says without luck and even blocked and deleted the contact again without any changes

it makes no sense that they are taking this long to fix it and it's impacting so many people, also the fact that they haven't said anything is absolutely shocking

Me too not received any texts from different people since yesterday but can send text. Hope they get sorted as I'm waiting for an operation appointment and they send it by text now.

I am also having the same issue, started on Tuesday evening for me, I can send texts, make calls and receive calls, I just can't receive texts from my boyfriend who is on Vodafone, tried all the trouble shooting options, like restarting my phone, hard resetting, turning iMessage off and on again, resetting network settings, I even replaced my sim thinking it wad something do with that but nothing has worked, I contacted sky and they never mention to me that it was an error at their end, tried saying there was a problem with my phone, I hope we get compensated for this as it's a joke now
