Still waiting for my SIM card and its been 20 days!!

I had my mobile phone stolen on the 23rd of November. I bought a new phone and asked Sky to send me a new SIM card to put in it, they sent one for my old phone !! 🙄 The second got lost in the post, I am still waiting for the 3rd to arrive. Anyone else had this sort of service?🙄

Hi @She13  your message is a bit confusing? You say sky sent one for your old phone, did you not just want a replacement sim with the same number ?

Hi, No My phone was stolen, and I asked for a new sim to go into my new phone I had just bought as a replacement, but the sky employee sent one for my old phone. Even Sky admitted it was there fault, as that sim card was wrong.

That doesn't make much sense.  SIM cards are standard...  (It's what you do in your account that matters)

 

You simply need to activate a SIM card as a replacement.  (If you order a new dataplan and activate the SIM then it will have a new phone number - and your existing dataplan will continue to be charged as well as a new one)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

That first sim should be activated in your account as a replacement @She13 that will keep your old number. A "new" sim would have a new different number.
