Spacetalk Adventurer Watch introduces a new Wellness feature!

This Halloween, you can see just how far your little ones travel to get that much needed Trick or Treat bounty! And while they're out having fun, you can rest easy knowing that they're within your Safe Zone.

What is the Spacetalk Adventurer Watch?

Spacetalk Adventurer is a 4G phone within a smartwatch, designed to give kids more freedom and give parents greater peace of mind. With GPS location on demand, School Mode and no open access to the internet or social media, it’s a simply safer phone for kids aged 5 to 12.

What features are available to me?

If you purchase the watch through Sky:

• Parents can manage everything on the device via the Spacetalk App, available on the Apple / Google Play App store
• Memories: A 5MP camera 
• Wellness: Step counter, fitness tracker and heart rate monitor
• Safety: Accurate GPS and 4G technology alongside SOS alerts to keep kids connected to those who matter most
• Bluetooth, Stopwatch, Weather

How do I set up the Wellness and GPS features?

Much like your everyday smartphone, the Wellness and GPS features can be found swiping through the apps on your watch's screen. From there, you can choose to set up alerts that link to your Spacetalk App, block unknown numbers, and designate Safe Zones using GPS location software! You can also set up a pre-approved contact list.

The Wellness feature tracks steps, fitness and heart rate. Please note: Spacetalk is a consumer grade general wellness device, not a certified medical device. Spacetalk wellness features are not intended for medical diagnostics. 🏃🏽 

Using the Location feature, your child can ping their location directly to you, where you can pull it up on Google Maps. That means if your child gets lost Trick or Treating, or wants to let you know where they are, it's as simple as a few taps! 🍭 

How do I link the Spacetalk App to my child's watch?

After you've downloaded the Spacetalk App, you'll need to:

1. Click the button 'Create an account'

2. Enter your verification details and create a password

3. Accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

4. Verify your email address by following the link sent to your inbox, and your phone number by entering the code sent via SMS

5. You can then add a device!

From the list, you can then select the device you want to add.

Make sure your watch's SIM card has been activated and credit has been applied for calls and data. Then, reboot the watch (turn off and on again), connect to your Wi-Fi, and you're good to go! From there:

1. Create your child's unique profile (name, DOB, fitness info)
2. Link the watch by using it's unique mobile number
3. Scan the QR code on your watch to pair, or you can select to enter a code
