I can receive text messages but when I reply or send messages they are not being transmitted ? I get message not sent !

Thank you for your reply and attempt to help
Unfortunately none of it worked. I cannot get through to anyone in Sky with a modicum of intelligence whether by phone or live 'chat'
I've called these people around 10 times now to try and resolve this problem and they can't. They cannot even efficiently send me a new SIM card requested 5 days ago. I've never known anything like it. What a circus!!!!!

Have you tried rebooting your phone ?

Oh yes.. I've done it twice including turn the phone off and restarting it hours later. No joy. I've just contacted sky support who reset my network settings. So I'll see what it's like in 24 hours.

You can do that yourself here:
Go to sky.com/networksettings (My Account > Mobile > Settings) and sign in with your Sky iD.
Select the mobile number or SIM name you're having trouble with.
Scroll to 'Resend network settings' and select Request settings.
Save the settings when your receive them and reboot your phone.
