Re: Sky SIM now working in Canada
I have just arrived in Canada (Vancouver Bc)
SOS calls only, on three phones (mine , wife, son)
I was here in Feb and encountered no issues
i see multiple threads and the "answer" seems to been "you're stuck, you'll need to buy a local e-sim" ... am I correct?
Has anyone managed to get connected any other way after having the SOS-only issue?

SOS only in Canada
Arrived in Canada and i have no data coverage, only SOS. I have checked.all of the usual remedies from Sky help but nothing has worked. My partner has the same issue and we are using different phones (iPhones and Samsung), can anyone help at all?

Emergency calls only in Canada
Sky mobile worked for 1 day on arrival to Canada yesterday and has since stopped with emergency calls only status.
Tried following the steps online for requesting network settings, flight mode off and on, phone off and on, sim card out and in.
Default network (Telus) says an error occurred and when manually trying to select and alternative network we get an error "your sim card does not allow a connection to this network" (even though that did work yesterday).
Can't call sky because both mine and husbands phone are on sky and same problem for both.
Any advice on how to get in touch with Sky for them to "allow" or reset would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Re: Sky stopped working whilst in Canada
Just get yourself an Esim and a new provider when you get home, this has been happening for months and Sky don't appear to give a toss

Re: Emergency calls only in Canada
This has already been tried before creating a new post and doesn't work for me.
Also doesn't appear to have worked for multiple other people.
It needs escalating to sky if its been happening a long time and there's no resolution that works for all.
