Get an esim

Just to clarify.  @Wobs1 means a non-Sky eSIM.  (For which you would have to pay for yourself with no guarantees Sky will reimburse)

@Wobs1

That's not guaranteed. I'm not going back over 240+ posts but I think I remember seeing a post stating Sky wouldn't reimburse.

Yes, probably as 'goodwill' as opposed to any contractual right.

Sky may not do this for everyone.  (And as already noted, have been known to refuse)

Re: Sky stopped working whilst in Canada

I didn't say it was a contractual right, I just stated that both mine and my wife's costs were re-imbursed, give that Sky have been aware of this issue since at least May then I would suggest that it is the very least they should be doing, I mean, they don't on the surface appear to be doing much else, or if they are they are failing to communicate what

Re: Only have SOS available in Canada

Choose the Telus network on the network selection setting  under mobile service in settings  and it now works fine

Re: Only have SOS available in Canada

I've tried TELUS but sadly it wouldn't connect so I may have to buy an eSIM as Sky hasn't worked in Canada since we crossed the border on the train yesterday

Re: Stopped working having arrived in Canada

Get yourself an esim, mine stopped working the day after I arrived and didn't work for the next 3 weeks no matter what I did - someone will be along shortly to say that Sky won't reimburse you for it - but they did mine

Canada SOS Only

I've been in Canada for a week now with SOS Only.

We're on the road consistently and needing to get in touch with friends and family for planning and logistics - truly ruining our trip.

Followed all help steps online and nothing is working. Please help!
