Sky mobile

So I ordered a mobile yesterday, credit check was successful, signed credit agreement waited then got order confirmation with breakdown of cost etc email from dpd, given delivery date. Fast forward to this morning, delivery is updated to return back to depot, I contacted dpd they said the driver was notified do not deliver. I contacted sky they said I will be notified for second delivery by dpd I asked if the order has been cancelled and he said the order has not been cancelled and to wait for contact from dpd. ?? I'm very confused as to what is happening here. Can anyone help please

I'm not surprised you are confused but I will say that usually if DPD are told not to deliver then it is because Sky have requested it back due to you failing the second deeper credit check. I'm not saying this is what is happening here so what shows via your account regarding this order:

I don't think us as other customers can help much.  You'll have to persevere with DPD and Sky to resolve it.

 

Usually it's because a second enhanced credit check is failed - but doesn't seem to be the case here...  (Bizarrely, stopping delivery after posting!)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Even after one worker confirming it had not been cancelled I contacted them again and they said it had been cancelled, pretty ridiculous how they cancelled it when it was out to be delivered and getting customers hopes up it's very misleading especially for them to say I had passed both checks.

Yes, it does seem strange but perhaps it's to speed up deliveries for those that do pass the checks.  (Rather than delaying by a day)

The same thing has happened to me, on the dpd app it's saying it'll be redelivered tomorrow but then it's also saying it's getting sent back to sky I've been told mutilple different things and I don't know whether to wait till tomorrow and see or to just believe it's been cancelled. I just don't understand why I went through all of that for it then to be dispatched and on the day of the delivery it's saying it's getting sent back, if anyone knows anything please help.
