@markcathy just do what @ItsMistaB said in the last quote on page 4 and it works a treat well it certainly worked on my a52s 5g. No need to touch the Sky menu app at all

Not working 😪

I tried the suggested ims settings on my wife's S9, unfortunately ims isn't an option under APN type and, IWLAN isn't an option under Bearer.
The other settings were OK but alas the fix isn't possible on this Samsung S9. 😒

This works on my S20 Fe .... Although I did try this fix a while back??? Guess there getting things sorted .... Thanks for your efforts .... I kinda lost faith !!

Yes I don't have that ims option I typed in 1st few as said. But apn says Internet, Mms or both

Doesn't work on my A70.
Those settings are already there under an access point named Sky Internet for me, so why adding them again would work I don't know.
Sky Menu app method still works though so I'll stick with that, annoying as it is

That fix doesn't work for me on non Sky Samsung S21 ultra. Had wifi calling fine with EE.
The abroad switch still works though. I'm assuming there won't be any roaming charges added if I stay on WiFi?

Correct, no roaming charges staying on WiFi with the temporary work around.

Loathed to revive this thread, but needs must...
I just got back from a few weeks away from home and found that my Wifi calling on Sky has now stopped working again. It worked ok beforehand for months using the Sky Menu app method (ROAMING > ABROAD), which is a pain but at least it worked....up to now.
Even more frustrating is that I have a dual SIM phone (Samsung A70) and have a PAYG Three SIM in the second slot and wifi calling IS WORKING on that SIM.
So, I am a Sky Mobile user (my family now has 5 Sky SIMs) with Sky Broadband and Sky Q and a supposedly supported Samsung A70 phone and yet Wifi calling on Sky still seems to be flakey......what on earth is going on???

Look on page 4, manual settings to set up wifi calling.

Doesnt work mate......I had tried this back when you originally posted it and it never worked for me......its impossible to select the ims settings - only allows Sky Internet settings to be selected, and you cant delete these settings to force it to use the new ims ones just created.
I have always had to use the Sky Menu app, and that has worked for me for many months up until recently

Would love to think this is the final word on this but.....
Having lost our Wifi Calling on both our A70s about 2 weeks ago, I resorted to phoning Sky Mobile again and they informed me there were 'errors' with our SIMs and sent out two replacements.
I installed mine in my phone and pretty much as soon as I had activated it, the Wifi Calling was working again!
However, on doing the same in my wife's identical phone, it did not work.........another call to Sky, and another they said something had gone wrong with the activation and sent me yet another SIM. This time I phoned them up and got them to activate it rather than me doing it over the internet, and still it didnt work.
Sky were adamant that if I waited a couple of hours and then rebooted the phone, it woud then work......it did not.
Another call to Sky, and this time they say I need to do a factory reset etc.........not happy at all!
Baffled as to why my phone would work, and my wife's identical one would not, I started to do an in depth analysis of sw levels etc, and found that our phones were far from identical in terms of sw versions of android/google play etc, and that it was not possible to set up both phones with exactly the same APN settings.
In frustration, I deleted all the APN settings from my wife's phone and then went back to the good old Sky Menu app and set it to ROAMING>HOME.........immediately it set up a new set of APNs and Wifi Calling was back!!!
I have no idea still what the right way to sort this out is, but I suspect that the new SIMs did help, but then it is necessary to clear out the APNs and make sure the Sky Menu app is set to ROAMING>HOME in order to kick things back into life.
The settings I have ended up with are indeed the ones which @ItsMistaB lists earlier in the thread, but without the new SIMs, this would not work on its own for me.
Hope thats the end of it now..................

Glad its working! 😁
Its absolutly pathetic to be honest. Surprised this is still goin on for so long.
Literally, if you chuck an EE or Three sim in, boom. It comes up straight away.
