Sky menu app enables WiFi calling ???

I have just swapped from O2 to Sky and been having issues with 'Wi-fi Calling' on my Samsung S10.

I have discovered that the strength of the wi-fi signal is the issue with mine. Please note I did not need the 'ims' settings provided in an earlier post, although these may help with other devices.

When in an area of my house where the wi-fi signal is a bit lower, I lose Wi-fi Calling. If I move closer to the router, the 'Wi-fi Calling kicks in again. A fix for the low signal is I am now connecting to my router's 2.4ghz network as a default now and only switching to the 5ghz network when necessary.

Last week I changed from a samsung  j4+  to a s9+.  I had wifi calling on the j4 with the icon on the screen.  When I put the new sim into the s9+ no wifi calling icon showed but wifi calling was enabled.  When I queried this with sky I was told that the icon only appeared when I was in a bad  coverage area.  I live in a village where coverage is practically nil so wifi calling is essential.   Advice please.

Wifi calling should show at the very top of the screen, it did on my old S9, does on my Zflip & wife's S20. Also should show on the keypad when in phone within the green phone symbol. If it doesn't, you don't have it.

What network was your S9+ previously on, if EE then it's locked out, had thus on my wife's old S9.

Thanks for coming back to me.  I've been with Sky for the last 2 years,  nothing has changed except my change of mobile phone.  Same number, different phone.

Forgot to say,  my s9+ shows wifi calling is enabled.

I've got my wifi calling,  it was my  mistake,  blaming it on old age   ! !!

I've just tried to switch to abroad in the sky menu app on my Samsung A70, and the WiFi calling symbol still doesn't appear, so I need to do something else?
