Sky confirm there's been an issue with a mast in my local area and basically there is no date to get this issue fixed . Sky have confirmed there's no solution , have no idea when it'll be fixed but don't offer any monetary compensation. How can this be ok?

Sky don't own any of the masts so it's out of their hands when it will be fixed.
However, once it is they will usually consider some credit.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Suswass as mentioned by @PandJ2020 once it's fixed if you call them they will give credit for the length of loss of service, they won't do it until they know how much to compensate you fully.
