Sky charging me double the bill!!!

So I changed my payment date too the 19 ad that's when I get paid now, and MY BILL had gone up to 79.18 pounds, how the he'll do sky expect me to pay that much, I phoned them and they said I can pay the normal amount of 40.20, but are they lying and will they try and charge me 79.18 ad this is a joke...absolutely joke they don't even warn you....

@Ryleyrys  Any changes to date or packages will affect the next bill as there will be pro-rata charges, if you look at your bill you will see the periods ti covers, future bills should be back to normal.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

That's for future bills, do I have to pay 79.18? Or pay the original amount as I am not paying 79.18 no way....

This is for a mobile payment, do I have to pay 79.18 or can I pay my original payment of 40.20 which I have been doing for years.. as the guy on the phone said I do not need to pay the full amount...

Why is a sky employee saying I can pay 40.20 no way in he'll am I paying 79 pounds just because changed the payment date, absolute joke, they didn't even warn me this would happen that is unfair...

Your payments will even out. If you've changed your payment date a billing period will be for a longer than period than the usual 4 weeks so will obviously be higher.

This doesn't answer my question, do I have to pay the full amount or not? As mentioned by a sky employee themselves I do not have too, and keep paying the normal amount of 40.20

You've changed the payment date on either a direct debit or continuous card payment so as customers like you we can't see the amount they will take automatically.

The 28th but a sky employee said I do not need to pay the 79.18 only 40.20 it's charging me for this month and next month. But he said to pay it as normal, either he said that incorrectly or he doesn't know what he's on about...

So previous your bill would have been for something like the 28th each month to the 27th the following month but because you have changed the bill this next one might cover the 19th July to the 27th August which as you can see is more than the usual 4 weeks. If you look at the bill after that you might find it is either back to what you should be paying or could be even cheaper for that month.

As mentioned I am not paying 79.18 no way I do not have the money for that. How do they expect me to pay that much? What will happen if I only pay my normal bill will they try and charge me more?

If you don't pay the amount Sky are expecting your services will be restricted and you won't be able to call Sky.
