Sky Mobile eSIM Still Showing “Activation Due” After 12 Hours

Hi,

I ordered a 3GB Sky Mobile eSIM on 5 October 2026 at around 10pm.

The order appears in My Sky, but the status is still showing “Activation due”. When I open the order, it says:

“we’re still working on getting this set up. We’ll update you here when it’s ready.”

It has now been around 12 hours since I placed the order.

I also noticed that the Sky website says an eSIM should normally become available within a few minutes after ordering, so I was expecting it to be ready quite quickly.

Is this delay normal for a new Sky Mobile eSIM? How long does it usually take before the eSIM becomes available to activate and install?

Thanks.

There have been a few reports previously of these activations appear to ongoing like yours so all you can do is to get in touch with Sky to see what they say.
