A SKY agent called me back on 13/06/2024 at 18.07 hours as a follow up call with their 0800 number to discuss an upgrade . I told him i am paying £10 for my current SIM only deal. On sky website there is this deal that is 150GB now £15 (half price) for 12 months, when i made enquiry about the deal and my upgrade request, the agent said it is for new customers but would go and speak to someone, (maybe his manager). He returned and said that, that someone he went to speak to has agreed for him to offer me the deal for £10. And i also took another sim only deal of 100MB for £2.50 for 12 months half price.
But days later when i checked my email only to realise that the agent did not do as he was instructed by the person he went to speak to instead gave me a contract of 50GB for £20 per month for 12 months. That wasnt the agreement and not the discussion we had.
I have called to dispute this new deal and bill and have ask for them to go and listen to our call conversation we had that evening. I was told i will be contacted on Thursday 20/06/2024. I'm still waiting for their call back.
This act is not only a lie but misleading to customers and its a scam. You must keep an eye on your sky bill like a hawk.

I have had a call back, and was told the agent was never instructed to offer me the deal. I now have two options. Take the 50GB deal for £10 or Take 150GB for £15 a month with £20 credited to my account.
I must say its not all about the money most times but its the way you get spoken to.
