Sim card delivery time

Hello

 

My phone was stolen last Sunday night. I phoned Sky on Monday to order a new Sim card. It's 3pm on Saturday and I still don't have a card. What an abysmal service. 

I phoned the local Sky shop who told me, if I walked in as a New customer today, I could get a Sim card. But as an existing customer I can't. It beggars belief. 

 

When I raised this issue with Monzo and Amex, I had new cards delivered the very next day. 

 

For Sky to think it's Ok for an existing customer to have no phone for this length of time is shocking. I have a couple of accounts that can ONLY be recovered with my mobile phone number. So I am in total limbo until this card arrives. 

 

Really shocking service. I'll be switching providers as soon as the card gets here. 

 

This horrible situation has been made 10 times worse by being a Sky Mobile customer. Any other major Network I could just walk into a shop and get a card.

 

I'm do disappointed by Sky.

Im not sure what they told you is correct as no matter if it is a new sim or a replacement they will both come from the same place and will be sent out via Royal Mail.
