Sim card coming through the post open
I have ordered a new sim card twice and twice the letter came open. I won't activate these. It is probably criminal activity. Also the packaging tells everyone : HAPPY NEW SIM DAY. I mean... How stupid that is.
I won't activate this new sim again as it could have been tampered with or even changed. What is SKY doing about this?

Re: Sim card coming through the post open
There's no risk at all as the SIMs are generic until linked to an account/specific dataplan.
But feel free to call Sky and ask them to send more.
What is SKY doing about this?
Nothing I guess as per above.

Re: Sim card coming through the post open
@MNTN Until you activate the sim card through your acount no one ele can access rhe sim, unless they have access to your Sky account they can't actually do anything with the sim.
It is higghly unlikely a scammer would intercept your sim card do something with it then send it on to you, it would not make sense when there are much quicker and easier ways for them to scam a person.

Re: Sim card coming through the post open
Thank you for your answer. I think Sky should review their packaging that "accidentally" comes open for everyone.

Re: Sim card coming through the post open
The alternative is not use a SIM card but instead to use a eSIM.
