Why is my phone signal so bad , even when I'm on 5g I can't load work stuff yet my work friend can on a different network this happens everyday and everywhere inside the m25

You are not alone.

I have the same problem. The coverage map suggests I have good coverage. In fact, I have almost no coverage. I can sometimes get one bar if I stand on one leg in the wardrobe in the spare bedroom and the wind is in the right direction. There are at least three masts in our village but I'm guessing they're not there for our benefit rather for the M1 and M25 that run nearby.

Sky keep repeating that there is nothing wrong and continue to show good coverage on their website. I conclude that they cannot be trusted and value being economical with the truth in their marketing rather than taking good care of their customers.

I'm researching other providers but have similar doubts about their claims.

Thinking about swapping providers as well my friend , I was wondering if coverage was due to work being carried out on masks but as I said , my work collage always has a reasonably good signal

Bear in mind Sky Mobile uses the O2 network so if you're experiencing a poor signal in your area and looking to change network, you will also want to avoid O2/Tesco/GiffGaff.
