Data transfer cancelled during set up

Have recently joined sky mobile and in the process of activating my SIM and setting up my new Apple iPhone 16e I keep getting stuck at the same point where it simply says data transfer cancelled press reset to return to factory settings. There is no other option I've done this twice now can anyone advise? I can't call sky because I no longer have my old Sim and my new Sim is in the new phone that I cannot fully Use as it is still in the set up stage! Many thanks for any helph

Hi @DebLH  when starting the set up of the new phone, don't set up Face ID or wallet and make sure you update to the latest iOS. Once updated to the latest iOS do a factory reset then start set up from scratch again.
