Should I factory reset?

I am returning a mobile within the 30 days, should I do a factory reset to get rid of all my data or just delete everything bit by bit?

@Trish+H You should just do a full factory reset, it's the best option for removing your data from the device.

How long after returning a mobile does it take to show on my account as returned?

It can take the company that handles the returns up to 3 weeks at least to process the return.
