Setting up dual sim on iPhone by adding an sim
I am trying to setup dual sim on an iphone 12. I have gone through the activation process for the esim. I received a txt from skymobile uk detailing the new number for the esim and a link to an iphone profile. Do I have to install this profile to complete the esim setup?

Yes you have to download the profile as this is the SIM, when it's processing it should ask you for the pin number that was emailed to you

Re: Setting up dual sim on iPhone by adding an sim
Thanks Jon34 It now seems to be active.
I have one other question.
I was supplied with a new mobile number for this esim. This however does not appear in "Mobile Service > SIMs" which only shows my Primary (existing) Number but the Secondary is blank as is the My Number field. Can you manully add this number?

I'm not sure, on some phones you can
If you tap it and it allows entry enter your number in international style +44 and drop the leading zero
Otherwise you can try restarting your phone and it might update it, if it doesn't don't worry it should work fine without it.
