Services are currently being restricted

Your services are currently being restricted There is an outstanding action on your account which is resulting in your services being restricted. Find out how to remove these restrictions Click the button to reinstate, says I Am up and running, but when I try and upgrade phone it comes back to this message. The bill is paid and up to date and always is.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Hi could someone get in touch with me regarding similar issue ( my bill was overdue but I've paid it yesterday and my services are still restricted)

Sky won’t reinstate services until you’ve paid what is owed in full and set up a new continuous payment method. If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well. It’s worth noting that it you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription.

Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. Also, any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week.

Could i possibly gwt someone from sky give me a call? Over a week now that I've not had my services, bill was paid on sunday as far as i remember, then paid forward for next bill on Monday, was in turkey all week with no service available, arrived back thinking maybe its a travel issue, but my services are still not working even though back in UK since yesterday evening

First thing to check is your bill here to see if everything is up to date:

 

https://www.sky.com/mobile-bill

 

If it is make sure this setting is set to home;

 

Apple:
Settings > Mobile Service > SIM Applications > Make sure this is set to Home.


Android:
Sky Menu App or SIM toolkit > Roaming > Make sure this is set to Home.

Yes and they reasssured me the service would be back up running ( twice i went through the chat, then gave up because still wouldn't work)

I gave up trying after the two times they hundred percent told me it will be restored. I paid my overdue bills, and i paid forward my next bill as well, eo that's all definitely sorted.
